The New York offices of the USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA) serve the over 30,000 farms in New York. Agriculture is a vital industry to the economy of the Empire State with over $8 billion in sales annually. FSA County Offices are located throughout the state to deliver a variety of congressionally authorized credit and commodity programs to all of New York's farmers and producers. Through the administration of these programs FSA works to increase economic opportunity and improve the quality of life for America’s farmers.
The New York FSA State Office is located in Syracuse while our 40 County Offices serve the needs of local farmers. Our staff work diligently in support of the FSA mission: equitably serving all farmers, ranchers and producers, and agricultural partners through the delivery of effective, efficient agricultural programs for all Americans. The Farm Service Agency (FSA) is one of the agencies under the umbrella of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). We provide funding and loans approved by Congress to America's farmers and landowners in the areas of conservation, disaster assistance, price supports commodity, livestock and farm loans.
We are looking for hard working individuals who have excellent customer service skills and possess the ability to learn how to use policy and the computer to get the job done. A background in agriculture is preferred but not necessary.
